77: a Lenten Journey

On account of a scheduled fortnightly Vampire the Requiem, scheduled for Sunday evenings, sojourns for Lent will also take place Sunday evening on alternating weeks. Out of the ordinarily Levi will also be physically here this weekend. By then Levi and I should both have a DX11 compatible graphics cards working again, but I don’t think there are that many intensive games. I can’t recall the last time I felt the need to turn off shadows or shading. Possibly in Dark Souls, but that’s mainly because it was a buggy PC port.

I’ve had a decent bash at Don’t Starve now, it’s similar to Terraria in that you quickly have to build resources to make your lifestyle sustainable and the most fun thing is discovering how the game works and how to use all these things. So another session on it will progress faster but be less fun.

Recently played a couple of Frozen Throne mods, wow League of Legends has come a long way since grass roots. Almost every match feels like an ARAM but the game modes change as well. Quite happy to go back to LoL where I have a vague notion of what items I want to get and which shop to find them in.

E.Y.E wouldn’t mind another campaign session in this. Partially because Levi is in town but I like the game still. It has plot, and is a 32 player co-op FPS RPG dungeon crawl hack and slash. But I’m only game if we can put a few hours into it as I’ve done the first missions several times now. I suppose we could run the scenarios a few times?

Nicole really enjoyed Artemis when we played over Christmas. I’m keen for another session as well and can setup the TV as our main screen. I still have a couple of gift able copies as well as the client files if anybody is keen on hosting their own game.

Galacon is a new game that I found out about this week, free to play on steam in which you use circles to make triangles that swarm circles so that you can make more triangles. When such a simple concept is fun I can understand why graphics card development cycles have slowed.

Orion:Hoard, is a dinosaur fighting game that me and Josh have been playing on and off for a month, you get to punch dinosaurs until they go invisible.
