Lan Description of some sort that Josh made up. Says something about a Sojourn on this weekend. It sounds interesting. Josh is really good at doing this kind of thing. Yay LAN.

WHEN: Saturday 18th January 4pm til midnight. then possibly follow up after church on Sunday 19th.

WHERE: Tony's place (Bargara) (he doesn't know yet (again))

WHAT: What games are planned as major events? None specifically.
However some games that look interesting are:

• Tribes Ascend (for the skiing :D)
• Just Cause 2 Multilayer Mod (for the Chaos :3)
• E.Y.E Divine Cybermancey (new characters and themes for them sound like fun (NO CHANGING ONCE STARTED!!!))
• Guild Wars 2, (It's about time we do the next dungeon...)
• League of Legends (always a good filler)

Other games (excluding GW2) we haven't gone too far in or haven't played in a while:

• Path of Exile
• Realm of the Mad God

WHAT TO BRING: Arrange food and drink here, (wow this is in the template for Sojourns)
How bout we have some pasta instead :D. Without olives.

60 - First lan of the year

Tony mentioned off hand that he might be free on Wednesday so we unofficially decided that there should be another sojourn at his house. Someone should really let Tony know about this.

WHEN: Wednesday 01/01/13 check facebook for times

WHERE: Tony's place (bargara)

WHAT: Starbound seems likely to make an appearance.

WHAT TO BRING: BYO Fan seemed to be a hit at the last sojourn.Sam can buy yet more pepsi and dinner can be arranged as per usual by putting it off until we're hungry and scrounging together money for whatever shops are open.

WHO: Sam, Ben, Eugene, and possibly even both Hicks seem likely to make an appearance - hopefully Tony as well or we'll need to find somewhere else to host.

59 - Even later end-of-year lan

There was a short notice 1200-2400 sojourn on 30/12/13. Consisted almost entirely of Starbound.

WHEN: 30/12/13

WHERE: Windroom

WHAT: Starbound

WHAT TO BRING: Edward bought chicken and salad and we all ate like refined gentlemen

WHO: 7 attendees all up? Sam's sister attended but did enjoy starbound, which was unfortunate because it wound up being the only game we played

58 - Bonus Stage

Sam has his parents' house to himself this weekend so this calls for one last hurrah as we end 2013 in  airconditioned comfort.

WHEN: Saturday 21/12/13. Any time after 9am until midnightish. Maybe spilling over into Sunday if schedules permit.

WHERE: Sam's Parents' place. Ask on Facebook if you need the specific address

WHAT: Killing floor was apparently quite successful last week. Path of Exile worked well for those who can't attend physically. LoL and a handful of others may contend for Install Wars' time.

WHAT TO BRING: Sam apparently has a large tray of sausages and a bit of chirstmas ham at his disposal. Will probably wind up buying a box of pepsi max but other flavours are more than welcome.

If everyone can try to bring a few LAN cables that'd help as I don't have Ben's existing infrastructure.Ben's second switch would be helpful and maybe even a table if attendance picks up. I won't be able to confirm what's available at the house until I arrive on Friday night.

WHO: Sam hosting. Josh, not-Stan, Ben and Kyle expected to show up some point on Saturday. Ben-kin may still be in town? Sam will be playing on his tablet or his sisters' computer while his has its PSU replaced but there should be at least one other subpar gaming computer in the house.

DEBRIEF:
After LoL difficulties (including a single comp stomp in LoL that was plagued by drop-outs before Ben had to leave) we moved on to few hours of tower climbing madness in 'Mount & Blade: With Fire And Sword' until a dinner upstairs with the Bowser family.

After determining that LoL was not an option with even the original router, an off-hand suggestion of Free-to-play Diable clone "Path of Exile" led to a few hours of solid co-op gaming before calling it a night at around 11:30.

Lessons Learned:

• LoL at Tony's house is inexplicably restricted to three players
• You can get a horse into the corner tower in M&B
• Path of Exile could be our new Titan Quest / GW2 / Warframe in terms of painless drop-in / drop-out gameplay
